Why are my clothes wet?!
Boat condensation is a reasonable explanation.
Warm meets cold and produces moisture. The boat's hull is the glass, surrounded by cold water which chills the boat's structure. Spring, summer, and fall moisture isn't as big of an issue in boat lockers. Winter, however, is the worst offender for moisture leading to mildew and mold. How many times have you pulled an item of clothing out of a boat locker only to find it's damp and smelly? Here at Ravenwolf Marine, we are! We've lined our boat lockers with Den-Dry Locker Liner. It has helped keep moisture from condensation from getting on our clothes. No more mildew spots, funky odor, or dampness. Even in the warmer months, there is still some issue with moisture and condensation, so Den-Dry Locker Liner is a great product to use all year round.
How does Den-Dry Locker Liner work?
When placed against the inner surface of a boat locker, Den-Dry provides a barrier between condensation and clothing. It's spun polymer, and plastic construction keeps your clothes fresh and dry, no matter how cold it gets outside and how much condensation forms on your hull's interior.
Den-Dry Locker Liner is 39" wide and is sold like fabric; by the linear foot. Each foot purchased is slightly over 3 square feet of material. Den-Dry Locker Liner includes a 3" polymer fabric flap to join and create pads wider than 39". Den-Dry products can be cut to shape with ordinary household scissors.
